Die Botschaft der Mongolei hat die folgende traurige Nachricht zu übermitteln:

 

Am 29.September 2001 ist der Vorsitzende des Großen Staats-Khurals der Mongolei (Parlamentspräsident), S.E. Herr Lhamsuren ENEBISH, plötzlich und unerwartet in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolei, verstorben.

 

Herr L.ENEBISH war von 1992 bis 1996 Vize-Regierungschef, seit 1997 Generalsekretär der Mongolischen Revolutionären Volkspartei und seit Juli 2000 Parlamentspräsident. (Lebenslauf ist beigefügt)

 

In der Mongolei wurde für den Zeitraum vom 01. bis einschließlich 5.Oktober 2001 die Staatstrauer ausgerufen.

 

Aus dem oben genannten Anlaß wird in der Botschaft der Mongolei, Gotland Str. 12, 10439 Berlin, am 4. und am 5.Oktober 2001 jeweils in der Zeit von 10.00 bis 16.00 Uhr ein Kondolenzbuch ausliegen.

 

 

 

Lhamsuren ENEBISH
Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia

Lkhamsuren Enebish is the Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, the highest-ranking member of the chamber. He is a 1965 graduate of Ulaanbaatar secondary school and earned his master's degree from the Mongolian State University in 1970 as an engineer. He completed several stages of study in Russia, Korea and Thailand on politics. He is currently in his second term in office and represents State Great Hural's 11th constituency.

1992-1996 Head of the Government Privatization Commission
